About
Practical AI implementation, not commentary about it.
The Northern Intelligence exists because most AI content is either academic or hype — neither helps a founder actually implement anything. This is where businesses come to learn how to implement AI properly: frameworks, playbooks and intelligence built for execution.
Everything here is organized around three disciplines: strategy, systems and execution. Not one of those in isolation — all three, together, is what separates a working implementation from an expensive pilot that never ships.
Strategy
Deciding where AI actually changes the shape of a business, and where it’s just noise. Strategy is the discipline of saying no to most of it.
Systems
Infrastructure, workflows and tooling that let an AI-powered business run without depending on heroics. Systems are what separate a prototype from a company.
Execution
Shipping. Building the thing, launching it, running it. This is where strategy and systems either prove out or fall apart.
Editorial standards
Every framework and playbook is built to be used directly, not just read. We publish clear definitions, step-by-step instructions and practical checklists over vague marketing language — and we don’t publish claims, case studies or figures we can’t stand behind.
The Northern Intelligence is written and directed by Noelene Buckrell, technology entrepreneur and AI strategist.
